  I fell on a boulder while hiking a river and gashed open my chin. And I do mean "open". Just like anyone else who hates hospitals and such, this wasn't how I wanted to spend a Saturday night, in the emergency room. But the guy who checked me in and assisted the doctor was Ted, what a nice guy, he knew my anxiety was an issue and he kept me joking around with him to keep me calm. It worked. The doctor was awesome, Dr. Johnson sensed my anxiety as well and kept goofing around with me. This was a couple weeks ago, after growing a beard which I hate just to prevent shaving the area for a while, I finally shaved. The job Dr. Johnson did stitching this wound is excellent. A week later I returned to have my stitches out and Ted was there to greet me and give me a hard time again, keeping me loose. A different docoter, LeBlanc, was the one who took my stitches out. He was a riot of jokes while doing a quick job of getting the stitches out. He also spent some time answering my questions about my aching jaw. Overall I was extremely happy with these guys.

  No one wants to spend the night in ER but I have to say night nurse Debbie (hope name is spelled correct) made a very bad evening for me as comfortable as possible. When I called 911 the operator was kind calm and I settled down quite a bit.The ambulance team was professional and friendly..I have spent alot of time almost a month this past year in there. I cannot say anything bad about this hospital or staff...except Thank you
